Vipps MobilePay reserves payment at the time of checkout but requires a separate capture step before the funds are transferred to your account. On the Starter plan, you can capture payments manually, either one by one or all at once with a single click. On the Pro plan, captures happen automatically whenever an order reaches the fulfillment status you choose, so your payment flow is completely hands-free. The app tracks running totals, distinguishes between reserved and expired payments, and keeps your query window tight so monitoring stays fast even for high-volume stores. Credentials are stored securely using the platform's encrypted secrets vault and never exposed in the dashboard. A built-in test mode lets you verify the full integration against the Vipps Merchant Test environment before going live.
