Since 19 June 2026, Article 11a of the EU Consumer Rights Directive requires online traders selling to consumers in the EU to provide a withdrawal function on their website; in Germany it is §356a BGB, in Austria §13a FAGG from 1 October 2026. Cooloff adds it: a labelled button, a short form and an acknowledgement of receipt on a durable medium. The button carries the statutory wording from the official EU texts, in all 24 languages, and opens straight onto the form. The acknowledgement is emailed the moment the form is submitted, with the content of the declaration and the exact time it arrived. The dashboard lists every declaration, exportable as CSV. With a connected store it matches the order by number and buyer email, tells you whether the 14-day period has run, and cancels and refunds in one click, but never auto-cancels an order already fulfilled. From 27 September 2026 Cooloff can also place the harmonised EU notice on the legal guarantee (Annex I, Regulation (EU) 2025/1960) under the purchase buttons of your store's product page, in the page's language; you add it in the settings. Cooloff does not decide whether a withdrawal is valid and does not give legal advice.
