Take a deposit now and collect the balance later on the same order. Order Deposits works with Stores and Restaurants Orders (New). Ideal for catering, custom cakes, large preorders and made-to-order goods. HOW IT WORKS Customers choose your manual/offline payment method at checkout. On the Thank You page, they accept your deposit terms and pay through a secure payment link. The order becomes partially paid, and the app creates a separate link for the remaining balance. Track both amounts in the dashboard. FOR RESTAURANTS Tested with a Restaurants Orders (New) pickup order through a paid deposit and automatic balance-link creation. Best for advance orders where staff can check payment before preparation. Unpaid or partially paid orders can appear in the restaurant Pending queue; this app does not block the Accept button. The all-orders rule applies to eligible orders across the site, not only restaurant items. SETUP Enable a manual payment method, add the app block to your Thank You page, and publish the Payment Request Page. Deposits use the merchandise subtotal. This is a deposit tool, not lending or buy-now-pay-later.
