The buyer pays the deposit right away, and you send a balance link when the order is ready. No spreadsheets, no placeholder products, no manual card entry. Some trades call this a down payment — the mechanics are the same. SETUP Two one-time steps in your dashboard: enable a manual payment method named for deposits, and publish a Payment Request Page. The app walks you through both.
