Let wholesale, resale and non-profit buyers apply for tax exemption on your site, and stop charging them tax once you approve. Customers fill in a short form with their business details and upload their certificate. You review each application in your dashboard, open the certificate in one click, and approve or reject it. EU VAT numbers are checked in VIES, and you can choose to approve valid ones automatically. Approving puts the customer in a tax exempt group: full exemption, or one of your own groups. Their checkout then stops charging tax. Each exemption can have an end date and ends on its own, and the customer goes back to the tax group they had before. Every decision is logged.
